Creating an Advert: Class Practice

Starting with the second week, we discussed about advert with the help of presentation, where we got to know about marketing strategies like how an advert can be really helpful to attract customer and grow sales. 

 Secondly, we started working on a class practice where I made an advert with my log, where an we made a animal sanctuary advert. I researched on few advert and here is an example:

 Beginning for my own advert, with the help of unsplash an online website I took the picture for my advert which was of a lamb:

Then I started my editing work on Pixlr where I clicked on Pixlr E and pressed on create new. 

                           

Then  selected the canvas size to A4 then choose the background color to white and with the help of page tab I rotated the page to horizontal :

After that I clicked on files tab and opened new image and I selected the picture which got opened like this :

Then I clicked on edit and copied the selected picture and pasted it on the  main canvas to continue my further editing:

Next moving on to making LOGO, i made my logo from Free Logo Maker :

Then I added my company name with an icon and adjusted a bit like I wanted to customize and saved it as a png file image for which I had to sign up :

Then I opened the logo on Pixlr by clicking on file>open new image and clicked on the  logo and again repeated to procedure of getting picture on main canvas showed earlier, to get my logo pasted onto main canvas and adjusted it to right corner. which looked like this :

Then I added text with the help of text tool, with font name georgia in color white and font size to 82. which looked like this :

Then I added the tag line in my work with the font color white in the bottom of my page. 

Completing with my work finally I cropped the above white part of the background canvas and downloaded my advert into jpeg file.

My final advert: 

Reflecting to my advert it’s just the way I wanted in a very simple and basic form and moreover i enjoyed making this advert on a cute little lamb. Although, I didn’t had much time to play with this but I think if I would have gotten more time for this class practice I would have worked more on the logo with the transparency effect and more on the font and tag line for my advert where else I think even this class practice advert would make a huge impact towards the viewers and hoping to make it in much more better manner if I get a chance to work on it again.
