Crazy Eight : Initial Idea Generation

 After writing about my first thoughts I wrote about another project describing important thoughts by visualizing and writing down on paper.

Beginning with developing Idea, I started writing down the import idea which I had visualized in terms of industrial theme. For this developed ideas I noted down on an A3 paper with green highlighter and named it as Crazy 8.

These are the crazy eight idea which I had draw on A3 page for my industrial theme which were, Carbon fiber, Tyre, Elastic Rubber, 3D printed sole, Wings, Some lighting pattern and design like cracks, doodle pattern and clay or plaster strips at the back of the footwear for designing. Futhermore, we shortlisted 2 important idea from the crazy eight for which I start developing that idea. For the developing of the idea I selected Tyre and Carbon Fiber.

The diagram above was my first idea which I developed by Visualizing in 7 different ways of building footwear with the help of tyre. I feel it was a great practice to visualize and develop idea on what we are thinking about. Hereby I felt the outcomes were effective to draw out about how I could develop my ideas in different ways and design.

The about figure was my second developed idea where I expressed how I could use carbon fiber ( an durable, lightweight and strong material) in my work by talking about the the woven texture and how I can add the carbon plate in my initial idea or designing it by molding, wrapping, and using it for the cushioning between outsole and insole.

In this modernistic world it is important to develop idea with new technology and latest trend. Moreover, I shared my thoughts and developed ideas with my respective teacher for which I appreciate her for the way she respected my thoughts and gave an honest feedback to improve me to develop my idea. Nevertheless, the way my teacher helped me to understand how I could easily visualize my thoughts to a developed idea. 

Although is not the end of my thoughts and developed ideas from the crazy eight. I more likely research about my two major ideas which are tyre and carbon fiber and was able to find two of the projects which were related to my developed thoughts and has inspired me to more passionately work towards it with proper aim dedication and focus.
