First Thoughts (Theme)

 After seeing the briefs in this blog I will be writing about my first thoughts in terms of 3 theme which were : Primitivism, Pop Art & Industrial. 

Among these three theme, first I thought about Primitivism and Pop Art because the color theory, texture and design  in primitivism are opposite like black and white or any two color which are used together but is not smudged or the different in two colours can be easily seen like the use of black and grey like monochrome or carbon fiber. On the other hand, pop art inspires me for various design and pattern prints like comic filter street art like doodle which I feel will work on my design. Where as, the industrial theme fascinates me to use tyre in my work as it is the most sustainable material which can help me to enhance my work of making shoe. Although I will be using Industrial as my first thought.

I am looking forward to apply Industrial theme thought in my initial idea as I am more likely to use Tyre and materials like Carbon Fiber which is an industrial product. By using Tyre it is the most leading industry which throws a lot of Tyre every year which can be recycled and molded. As Tyre are made up of rubber it will give a nice durability and grip. Additional I will be using carbon fiber plate to the sole as it improves the moments angle, gives energy to walk and is strong to provide stability to the foot.
