Object Lesson : Developing Idea

 After generating my Crazy Eight idea development from week one, we began with object lesson in which I had to choose an object and write on the paper how it can help in my work to develop my initial idea. 

TOY CAR 

The object which I have choose over here was a small toy car. The reason to choose this was because the theme I was looking at was industrial for which I thought car would be a better option.

       

After choosing a suitable object I started writing about the object in terms of looks, material, feel and inspiration. Overall the toy car was a replica of some sports car which had a sporty appearance and had a low body profile. Second, the car was made with strong aluminum, and had plastic at the very bottom and for the wheels which were connects with some of the material likely to copper string. Additionally I added my thoughts as well like if I could make it I can use air drying clay.on the other hand, I wrote about the feels by touching it and what inspiration we get after seeing this object.

After I decided to shortlist the idea and start developing design which were related to the object which I had choose. Lastly with an completion of thoughts I designed a rough shoe and a sliders which were inspired by the toy car.

Narrowing down my knowledge into specific design of shoes inspired by car. I did a research and got to know about a shoes by puma which was inspired by BMW M4. After researching furthermore I felt motivated and wanted to look more towards the shoe which was related to the object idea which I was developing.
