Website Update - Wixsite

 

Beginning with my website I started changing my homepage picture from which firstly, it was a picture which I used in the last term from unsplash, and now I have created my own homepage template from Canva software making it match my background.

Over here I first clicked on the old picture then I pressed on quick edit, then I got an option to change background picture from which I clicked on  the design template picture which I had designed of my own design for my home page.

Then I clicked on the old text from which I got a tab in which I had the option to edit text on which the text setting opened up and I was able to change the font in which the font which I choose was Monoton and I kept the text size to 58 pts and then which the help of drag tool I aligned it.

Then I went to site pages and menu option from which I added a subpage to my portfolio main page and named it as slight slide. The subpage was a duplicate of my Shoe X subpage for which later I changed the duplicate subpage name to Slight slide. The reason to duplicate is I want the same layout which I used in my past portfolio which also makes my work easier as I would next just have to edit the text and add the respective design board and a gallery additional for show my prototype.

Next I opened the portfolio page and added the picture for my portfolio page which is also one of my work as I have used it differently in one of my experiment post. Then with the help of filter tool I changed the appearance of the color picture to black and white. Not only but a lot I duplicated the Shoe X portfolio button and then aligned it bellow my picture for slight slide and then I edited the text of the button as it was a duplicate of shoe X so I had to change the text to slight slide and then. Lastly I linked the button to my subpage of the Slight Slide portfolio subpage.

Afterwards when I opened the subpage I first changed the text of Shoe X to Slight Slide.

Next I clicked on the gallery of Shoe X and clicked on change images from which this organize your gallery image tab opened and I deleted all previous duplicated text and clicked on add images.

After exporting the design board to the Wixsite website I organized it the way I wanted and added the title for each design board .

Over here I previewed my work checked if all of my design boards open well and the details are clear and proper or not and it was clear for which I next move on to adding my gallery for the prototype.

 To add a gallery for my prototype I began with pressing on add section the I got the option to add gallery after which I choose the relevant and proper gallery to show case my prototype.

This is the gallery which I choose to show my designed prototype.

Then I head on with changing the text for which with he help of text setting I changed the name from our gallery to Golem Prototype and I also changed the font from default - spinnaker to monoton to get merged wit the background and website font.

Again I went with the same process of changing the image and adding the title and then I pressed done from which my 3D golem prototype got displayed at the gallery.

However I previewed my work and it was not opening into full screen for which I again went in the editor mode and clicked on the gallery image on which I got the option of open in Full screen which I enabled and then I previewed again which afterwards worked out well.

Not only but also as I was scrolling I came to my footer on which I clicked on edit text and changed the copyrights year to 2024 from 2023.

Website - on Phone perspective update.

 On the heading of the portfolio the alignment were not proper which I changed and did it better.

Over here as well I aligned my buttons and picture beside each other as the alignments we not proper.

I checked the overall portfolio page which was better and no adjustments were needed.

On the main home page I check the footer was slightly dislocated which I aligned it properly and then I checked everything else which was all great and good to goo for which my website was ready to be published and then after few more check I published my website.
