Color Research : Art Portfolio 2
In this blog I will be working with colours in term of finalizing my colour palette for my six 2D design for the collection of Belle Cherie.
Here bellow is the color wheel I was referring at before doing my work :
Reference Color Wheel Provided By Tutor.
Moreover, the colour theory will be based on
1. Complimentary
2. Split Complimentary
3. Analogous
4. Polychromatic.
The template that I will be using is from one of my developed ideas which is bellow :
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - — -
Here I begin:
This is complementary color theory, practiced on A3 paper and made with sketch pen
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
This is split complementary color theory, practiced on A3 paper and made with color pencil
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
This is analogous color theory, practiced on A3 paper and made with water color

This is polychromatic colour theory, practiced on Procreate and made with digital pen strokes with different colour shades.

Overall in this peace of research I am comfortable with polychromatic as I did an research on Sophia Webster I am planning to work with metallic colors such as gold and silver and additional, my color pallet is limited to 3 colour for which I will be choosing polychromatic as it gives me wider rate of option and I am more comfortable working digitally as I will be able to play with texture and metallic fabric.
