Initial Development Idea ( Womens Heels)

Today, we had to develop idea based on the image from which we had to select one. I just selected the image "Hans Bellmer, Puppet, 1935–1949." I chose this piece of image because, when an object combined with many components, the thing creates a really fascinating final product.

Here bellow is the image I choose for inspiration:

 As I was brainstorming from the picture about I planned to use my digital skill to sketch it my developed idea on software named Pro Create for which I used my IOS device iPad Pro with the help of its pencil. After working for a good amount of time the outcome for this inspiration image is that I made two different designs, both inspired by the white oak. Both design is designed inspired from white oak tree because I wanted to show a direct symbol, which is the Oak Tree, one of the Connecticut emblems. Also, the design shows the tree leave, cracks of trunk and bark, like the picture that has different parts unevenly repeated like the picture above. Not only but also, each design illustrates different stages of an oak tree for which the first design expresses the stage where the oak tree is dried out and is at a stage of dying. Mainly that’s the reason I used the colors such as brown and pale orange with a Matte finish of a darker shade to express oak tree in Autumn and the broke down of Cromwell state. The Second design depicts a white oak leaf and tree trunk blooming because I want to express the blooming stage of a city from the beginning perspective with was broken down. For my second design I symbolised  the leaves colour from green to red and brown for tree bark and trunk.

Next I also developed some idea on the colour palette resembling to the white oak tree leave and brainstorm 3 colour pallet that I can further experiment on footwear.

These are the 3 colour pallets that I developed inspiring from the oak three. Furthermore, after seeing Hans Bellmer, puppet image I widen my perspective to try incorporate some faded colour like pale orange , brown and green instead of heading with sharp and brighter colors.

Moreover I will make one more post on generation of idea for men’s footwear by being inspired from the same.
