Initial Idea Generation - Mind Map
Beginning with my word we were instructed to create a mind map and try to come up with some ideas for the footwear design as it was described in my footwear design brief during the first and second sessions of Art Portfolio II. 
The main topic of this mind map is for collection of Belle Cherie. I will make an effort to incorporate Connecticut's symbol, that includes oak tree, as I want to highlight the qualities of the city and ensure that its symbol is never forgotten.Here is my mind map which I have developed inspired from the oak tree: 
The family will use this mind map. Tan and brown color palette the primary colour scheme that I was thinking about. Whereas, I was also thinking about Green and Pale orange as a secondary color palette. Since brown and tan are the typical colours for formal dress in the USA and highlight the oak sign, the footwear with its cracked and overlapping pattern will be worn to formal business events and celebrations such as birthdays and marriages. I've concentrated in depth on the family in terms of developing footwear for men , women and children.
Beginning for this mind mapping I will be looking the oak tree symbol in Connecticut, United States of America.
