2D Design Development- Process: 03
In this blog I will be sharing my further developments towards the designs I have worked on in terms of Kids - Boys and Girls footwear:
These are the heels I was talking about which had metallic fabrics and has influenced me to work with gold in this term to make a luxurious appearance towards the audience.
Children’s - Boys Footwear:
This is the footwear design which I had previously developed in my initial design which I will be now further developing it and change few of the places.
In the video above is a time lapse of process I went through before finalizing my design. Things I did differently is that I worked on masking with material in the design on the other hand I re designed the quarter, sole and tongue for this specific footwear. Moreover the material I used over her is slightly different but the color pallet remains same. Moreover in the end I will state my reason for the use of metallic color gold.
Children’s - Girls Footwear:
In the video above is a Timelapse I went through before finalizing my girls footwear for the collection of Belle Cherie. However the frame of the design is quite similar to my initial design but I have mainly re develop the shoe design with different zipper design, container , vamp and tongue for this specific footwear.

Overall, the reason of using golden metallic as my color palette for material is because of the research I did earlier in this term on Sophia Webster. Here work on Wildflowers Espadrille Wedge heel 140 had metallic leather fabric throughout the straps to present a luxurious and fancy. In relation to my work I am highly influenced by the research I did on those wildflower wedge sandals for which I tried using metallic fabrics which was gold in my these two designs for girls and boys. The overall outcome for this inspiration was a success and the outcome really enhances my work with some luxurious finishes and merges well with the background I have been using throughout.
