2D Design Developments - Process: 01

In this blog I will be sharing my further developments towards the designs I have worked on in terms of womens footwear:

Womens Wedge Heel 01 :

As I was already working on procreate software on my iPad it was easy for me to edit the design and add the materials to the design for which I have mainly chosen color related to my color palette which was shades of brown, tan and pale red which moreover illustrates the color palette of white oak tree leaf in autumn.

This is the image I choose from Canva application from iPad - iOS device to present my design. This image will work as a background to showcase my designs for this collection of 6 designs respectively.

In the video above I felt the proportion for the heel of this footwear is quite wrong as the arch on the heel is not practical enough to fit in any women’s feet for which I changed the heel giving room to the heel in terms to express the comfort slip in to wear from ankle.

Overall as shown in the above picture, this is what I tried to make nice approach towards my target market with comfort.

Female Wedge Heel 02 :

In this design I have tried using dual tone color pallet for which to make this look extravagant I tried something differently which was using Steel Studs on the upper for this footwear. The color pallet is mainly tan and brown with an accent of luxurious with metallic silver/ chrome studs over the vamps and upper of the footwear.

Additionally as I am looking forward to use this females wedge heel 02  design for 3D prototype as well before developing further (time when it was without studs ) I was not interested to carry out this design as my 3d prototype, but by developing it further with studs made it look much better for which I am planning to use this design for 3d prototype .However the studs were not mention on my pre project plan plan list of the material I will be using I will be further calculating and updating the materials required list in the pre project plan.
