3D Prototype - Process 02
In this blog I will be continuing my makings of 3d prototype of womens wedge heel for the collection of Starlight for Belle Cherie.
The 2D design which I am referencing over here is the design bellow which I will be turning into 3D model:Women’s Wedge Heels

Continuing with my work I will be now working with front side of the body of the women wedge heel .
As I continue with my work, I begin with removing the 3 template pieces made with masking tape from the 3d printed wedge heel and sticked it on the brown leather and then with the help of a scissor I cut out the leather accordingly to it’s required shape.

Here is how it looked once I completed with the stitching. However I will be redoing it because the thread colour does not match and even this piece was unsuccessful because I had stitched the to side opposite
Here is how it looks, the pointed part/ the peak was facing downwards where I wanted it to be facing upwards towards the straps.

As I was doing a redo, I did the same process of sticking the masking taped template which I had not thrown, sticking on a fresh piece of leather and stitching it up again.
Unfortunately, again I faced issue but the issue this time was one side was stitched with brown and the other side was stitched upside down causing the lower string/ thread showing upwards and causing different shade of thread stitch.

This is the picture of the overall 2 mistakes which I had done cause to make me do redo for the third time.

Overall, now I have a proper stitching after which with the help of leather punching machine I made holes respectively according to my 2D design and added the studs which I had ordered from amazon. And this picture above is the complete look on how it was looking when both the sides of leather were stitched and have diamond studs in it.
